[Pilates]
In the opening paragraph, please replace "contrology" with "controlology."
Not done: Google ngrams lists both spellings as approximately equal, but Joseph Pilates himself seems to have spelled it the shorter way. PianoDan (talk) 18:54, 19 January 2024 (UTC)

Remove "There is however only limited evidence to support the use of Pilates to alleviate problems such as lower back pain.[5] Evidence from studies show that while Pilates improves balance, it has not been shown to be an effective treatment for any medical condition[6]"
Replace with "There is significant evidence to support the use of Pilates in conjunction with other medical modalities can work to alleviate problems such as recurring injury, injury post-rehabilitation, and common lower back pain[1]. Twenty-three studies, published between 2005 and 2016 assessed the efficacy of Pilates in the rehabilitation of low back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, multiple sclerosis, post-menopausal osteoporosis, non-structural scoliosis, hypertension and chronic neck pain. The majority of those clinical trials found Pilates as a rehabilitation tool to be effective in achieving desired outcomes, particularly in the area of reducing pain and disability.[2]" Gftrain (talk) 23:03, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
